Atlas
Art learning library for studentsOverview
An art teacher wanted students to keep looking between classes — not only in the studio. We helped shape how they move through art history: how they find artists, how they learn to look. Then we built Atlas, a visual library of periods, artists, works, and museums. Students explore, recognise a style, save what matters, and come back to it.
Art history organised into periods, artists, and works
A visual atlas for browsing artists, studying works, and learning to recognise a style
Artist and artwork pages: what you’re looking at, why it matters, and museums as a way in
Search, favourites, and a home of their own, so the looking continues outside class
Commenting and discussion on artworks, so students can share their thoughts and learn from each other
